Tiny Tomb
A Poem by Siren
a mother cries in a distant land
as her daughter dies buried in sand
with cross and wreath the silent womb
for final breath a tiny tomb.

I can relate to this more than I'd like with my first son. The simplest words sometimes make the most impact. This is a very somber piece.
