Changing

To my formerly close friends.

It comes welling up again

Darkness overwhelming

I know there's much that I have lost

I love all I have gained.

 

Anger swells and fills my head

I cry for all my past

Now you'll never see me again

Perhaps you never did.

 

So cry for all you thought I was

I would not turn around

The world has changed its shape again

And I am changing, too.
