IvyA Poem by Susanna FAge 17Green as waters of the sea Wends the secretive ivy; Tendrils growing on the wall Hide its mysteries from us all.
It covers all with shiny leaves Hiding patterns that it weaves; Never will it tell its tales Of forests and misted vales.
Creeping, quiet in the night It greets the moon of silver-white; Glistening with the starry dew It scatters darkness where it grew.
The ivy knows of secret things Veils what the shadows bring; Green tendrils growing up a wall Hiding mysteries from us all.
