Retreat to NORMALCY

Retreat to NORMALCY

A Poem by sushi

The long awaited day of tortue
has come at last as awaited.
To make me see world outside work.

Now the real torture has begin,
A week of holiday is declared
The work-place is closed and
I need to kill the time away from home
(away from work thats enjoyable now and ever).
Where will I go? how will I be?
A weeks' time look too long
and dreadful indeed.

I fear of the sea, with the sharks,
I fear of the jungles with tribes.
Here I go to the mountains high with a heavy heart by my side.

I climb the mountain at circles like a eagle aiming for heights.
The turn goes on and on making the day last long
Its the third day now itself
and Iam half the way to the heights
(may be Iam happy and back to life).
The overflowing water from heights
The cynosure breeze that hug be tight.
How I wish to get lost in the unexplored forest that pass by.

Here again my mobile rings
My city life calls me back
Back to the monotonous routines...

The way back, goes so fast.
The turns go with an uncontrollable speed
taking me back to my time
I freeze my thoughts were my happiness lies
(as I fly low on the mountains high)
to preserve a smile of mine
that could no more be seen in my time
where i will transform as robot, as others are.

My life is great here, as it should be.
Safe from animals, emotions and greens
As it should be for a robot like me.
