You discovered my secret...

Every day I wait at the bus stand
missing lot of buses
to see him cross the road
to the stop at my opposite.

A smile just sprouts from no-where,
I know he is not aware.
Daily I see him in class,
silently sit to his besides
but never to his knowledge, I see him.

Ten of my buses have gone,
I am waiting at the stop for long.
He had left from class early
My mind says he is gone too far,
My heart feels his presence around
I wish today to be the same.

My eyes scan the road for his presence
A friend just whispers to me
"He is here,few steps behind..."
I don't want to haste to make him realize,
I am looking for him.
I walk few steps forward and
silently turn back
to find him staring at me.

The story told is pretty beautifully! The poem could have been better with better rhymes.

But, the emotion and the human feelings expressed here, are what makes this poem so beautiful to read!
