Frozen Life-Stone

Frozen Life-Stone

A Poem by sushi

The trees have got their new coat,
the dull green has changed to peaceful white.

The boiling sun turned cool and quiet.
White snow everywhere,
hot coffee all people share,
joy, happiness and smile.

I pray these smile always prevail
but let the old sun come back
for this statue of stone
that's lifeless with frozen bones.

This is beautiful! Can be metaphorical in a couple of ways, the wishing of something recognised returned or the old ways :) Stunning! xx
