This I Love

A sonnet written by 5th grade me

The people I love is my family,

Also my relatives and my good friends.

I know they will do anything for me,

We have strong friendships that will never end.

The place that I love would be my homeland.

Yes, it's Thailand, a very pretty name.

My house is medium-sized, not very grand,

And of course, good friend, I am not ashamed!

This I love and cherish very much, yes:

My books, my stationaries, and my toys.

My chicken doll Jeab and my own big desk!

Oh my gosh! These great things bring me such joy!

The people, the places, and the things I love,

Will never fly away like a white dove.
