So glad I'm not in this place anymore

Is it alright to stay awake
Cry yourself to sleep at night
To hold it inside
When you can't put up a fight

Is it alright
To feel the way I do
I can't function, I can't breathe
When all I think about is you

Is it alright
To wonder if your loved
Thought about... or even thought of
To think... did I mean anything

Said I mattered, said you cared
You even thought it was just a dream

Is it alright
To doubt, question, and fear myself
I'm drowning and fast
Please hurry.

I like this poem, the meaning is good, but to improve perhaps you could use more punctuation. For example when you ask a rhetorical question, put a question mark at the end. Yet you concept is very good. Well done.
