Little Pioneer

Written in April 2018, about one month after learning I was carrying our first child.

       The Heavens bellowed,

                    "LIVE"

  and so you do

                Ever-changing in your cocoon

         Grasping at the rays of warmth from The Divine

  You, gentle-grower

                      The first to show me this path

             Leader, protector,

                 Map-maker
