I CAN be the best thing that's ever happened to you
I CAN be a friend like no other
I CAN be the one that holds your hand through the darkness
And I CAN chase your fears away

You CAN find comfort in me
You CAN rest in knowing that I am real
You CAN know without a doubt that my words to you are true
And you CAN trust that my heart belongs only to you

We CAN make a life together
We CAN work side by side
We CAN dream together like little children
And we CAN make it all happen
