When forever is over

 You look at me

A glimmer of hope

Only to notice it's not me your looking for

Your stare goes through me

I"m leaving....reluctantly

 

I watch you

watch her

as I walk further from you I see over my shoulder

what I"m leaving

tears roll down my cheeks

I know she doesn't see what I've seen

If she did she wouldn't hurt you

The words she speaks cut like a knife to my heart

 

Leaving will be hard but watching is to painful

I would rescue you

If I knew you wanted to be

 

Slowly I wait for a sign from you to stay

but you don't notice

then you look my way

only to say good-bye

My heart brok that day, never to be repaired

 

You love her....not me

 

Over and over I wonder what could I have done,

to make you see how much I care 

 

I'll come back someday

When you look at me as you do her

 

I'll see you when forever is over!
