Lifeless.

I don't know what too say..

Well, here I stood.

Cold and alone.

Hopeless and empty.

My emotions thrown.

 

All I have heard are lies.

All I have felt is tears.

I've gotten my heart shattered a thousand times.

But I keep on pushing through all my fears.

 

His words always drown me, a never ending trend.

Her words hit me, I feel worthless when it ends.

 

I am glad you could be here..

You have brought some light.

You have wiped away tears.

You stay with me through the night.

 

I got lucky but,

I'm scared one day you'll hurt me too..

 

Babe, stay with me ..

You have helped me through.

[Coyote Poetry]

A very strong poem. Hard to stay positive when all we hear is negative. I like the positive ending. I believe rules must be set. Love is support to be kind and best days of a life. If someone is negative at the beginning. Run like hell. A excellent poem.

I really like how even though the tone of the poem is sad all the way through, it gives hope of a new tomorrow at the end, even if it seems slight. I really enjoyed reading it.
