Marriage

I wrote this to read aloud at my sisters wedding.

I was her soulmate

And she was mine.

Till she found another

Who put up with her whine.

She has grown without me,

But she will always be in my mind.

Forever sisters

Our memories are intertwined.

As he found his way into her heart,

We will make some room for now he is a part.

So to my sister, you're my forever friend,

I wish you and him a love that never ends.

I don't know why but I got the feeling that you outgrew your sister. I don't have a sister, I have a complicated (but settled) relationship with my brother, and people I know that have siblings I cannot comprehend XD So I'm probably useless in perspective to this, but I have enjoyed reading this.
