At the end of the day, it's not your name I write in my diary.

Mine.

Despair reeks here

Those dreams of you and I

They keep returning, screaming

Calling out your name and ripping me

Into pieces that can never be sewed together

I try to sleep and fight back those nightmares of you

And my summer light slowly fades away from in the dark

Every ardent shattered bit fading away in the dim windless sky

You look at me fondly with what you call love in your eyes

And what I see as madness perpetuated deep inside

Your grapple with my soul, trying to take back

What was never yours in the first place

You cry and I cry at the thought

But every tear we shed are

Useless since I will be

Always will be

Yours.

This was absolutely beautiful and breathtaking and heartbreaking. I love the rhombus, *ahem*, diamond form here. The flow was wonderful and... I guess the best way to describe this is you made me shed a tear. And that's rare.
