A Love Song

I wrote this as a comment on one of Chloe's poem some time back. She very kindly sent it to me recently when I was feeling rather down. Thank you Chloe.

I will play you a song
a song that will make you strong.

I will play you a song
a song that will make you feel you belong.

I will play you a song
a song of far off days, when life was beautiful

I will play you a song
that will lift you through your darkest haze

I will play you a song
that will bring comfort and warmth

a song full of joyous memory
of all you have achieved

in comfort and love
you freely give and receive.

I will play you a song
that will make you strong.

I love you too
and my love WILL

see you through

I don't often write songs, so I am not sure of the format, but this one just came to me, thanks again to Chloe. Any advice, crit away.
