To a certain, unnamed someone.

 

You were supposed to be here for me,

but you stabbed me in the back.

I needed some sympathy,

that's obviously something you lack.

I begged for your friendship,

a helping hand at the most,

but when I told you that I needed you,

you began to boast.

I find it quite amazing,

how you could do this to me.

But after lots of thinking,

I've decided to leave you be.

So you go your own way,

and I'll just go mine,

because I now realize,

I don't need you,

for the stars to shine.

I liked the end because you knew to let go of them and ignore the way they treated you. People sometimes deserve 2 chances and other times, its just too difficult to give it to them. If you can learn to cut it off, then good for you :)

I strongly believe that you conveyed your message really well. I've had people turn on me so many times. If someone doesn't treat you right, forget about them.
