One of my few blessings

This was written for a very, very good friend of mine. She's absolutely AWESOME, and I could NEVER ask for anyone better. Just FYI, I love you. =]

You're about five-five,

adorable as all,

and when I'm feeling down,

you're the one that I always call.

We go out to dinner,

and do shopping at the mall,

and you hold my head high,

when I begin to fall.

You're here for me during the good times,

and the times when I weep,

so it's you that I trust,

with my secrets I know you'll keep.

The fact of the matter,

is that you're my best friend,

and I can only hope,

you'll be here until the very end.

I, too, have a great friend like this. They are rare gems so hand onto her if you can. There's is nothing as great as a good girlfriend that you can open your heart to and feel completely safe.
