True

True

A Poem by Tamme
"

Italian Sonnet

"

My butt is kinda wide
And my waist not that thin
In most competitions I won't win
Sorry to say sometimes I lied
Frequently I laughed but should've cried
Mostly I drown my sorrows with tonic and gin
And yes I have been known to sin
Give me choices and I can't decide

But, this truth I promise you
If ever in a dilemma I got your back
When your depressed I'm here too
When you fall to pieces I'll bring glue
Even if I fall off track
My heart is always true

I don't know what an Italian sonnet entails (sp?), but I don't think sounds Hallmark-y at all. I enjoyed this!

Thank you my friend for even thinking of me at anytime. Short and sweet but to the point and as for me I stopped competing for love a long time ago. I've found that friendships can and often are just another form of love. Your Friend Gary

I like your poem. I don't know anything of sonnets, Italian or otherwise, but I do like the message: we all hate things about ourselves that we can't help, but we are measured by the things that we can...at least I hope that we are.

This is a really good Sonnet.
True to form and I liked the content of the poem, very sweet.

Very nicely written. I liked the message of a true friend that rings so clear in this piece. More people should be like that.

Great Job!!!!
