MirageA Poem by MazerunnerA real life inspired poem on how life is a disoriented intoxication
I walk amongst the barren lands
Fooled by any mirage that I see Hoping that maybe I'll find helping hands But they only internally break me I don't call it home ,I call it refuge Where nothing remains fixed and uncertainty is huge I hallucinate sitting under a wide tree Wherever it's cold wild and free Hoping to reach somewhere but nowhere to go Nobody to love but I keep loving the one's I know Remember that I only used to get love back a long time ago But damn these mirages keep fooling me more and more © 2018 Mazerunner |
