Daffodil

These flowers are not my favorite but they make me happy

would you bring me some sunshine?
and can you make the sky glow again?
can you sing like the birds do?
and laugh like a child?

can you show me wear its warm?
can you make me remember to smile?
when i’m blue

a touch of yellow in my open eyes
