Once Again

Sweat pours down my spine
Chills overtake my body
Tears overflow my eyes
fear seizes my soul

I thought i would forget,
History? No.
A haunting nightmare
A repulsive and shameful recollection

The closing memory
Your odious smile
Your petrifying eyes
Still, it's like yesterday

I proudly say
You're not in my mind everyday
Your wrong will be
An everlasting memory

I won't feel sympathy
I won't lament
I won't forget
I will exceed the torment

here you describe successfully how difficult it is for us to let flow and to forget. Dramatic content suits the needs of the one who suffers, it disturbs the moment of healing, but we can't jump over our shaddow.. wonderful poetry. thanks for reviewing my new one. The part you didn't understand as you says is metaphysical, eastern thought but yet you meant you loved so you understood sub-consciously, I am glad.
