the Lagoon

thebest place in the world to be. written in past tense for no aparent reason.

the water there wasn't blue,

and the lifegaurds wouldn't let you dive.

don't go under the dock and
swim at your own risk.

the grass was always green,
and the wind always blew.

the water was cold, and the
sand was always hot.

it wasn't perfect there, but it was close
and everyone loved it.

we would swim in the water and
jump off the dock.
 

we would lay on our towels and
tan (or burn) for hours.
