Poetry is calling,

an overcoming of emotion

 

poetry is calling,

a need to write.

 

poetry is calling,

a spilling of thoughts.

 

poetry is calling,

a want to share.

 

poetry is calling,

a ryhme running thrugh my head.

 

poetry is calling,

and the pain shows through it.

 

poetry is calling,

an idea falling on my paper.

 

poetry is calling,

a chance to clear my mind.

 

poetry is calling,

all feelings released.

 

poetry is calling,

a heart to unlock.

 

poetry is calling,

and I must answer.

It's good, I wrote poems like this when I was young keeping a base like like poetry is calling. just an idea on how to make it a great poem. What is poetry saying when it's calling you? How does poerty sound? How do you feel when poetry calls? So instead of say peotry is calling have it call in different forms, Might make it more interesting what do you think? It's your piece and it's good nice following lines so it's up to you. I'ld love to know what you decide. Happy writing.
