Samhain

Samhain

A Poem by Tarry Franck

When darkness creeps
And shadows are abound
Ghostly figures seem to appear
In every town,
On a special night
Trick or treat
Is heard door to door
And the streets filled
With witches, goblins
Vampires, fairies
And creatures of the sort,
It's this night, I love the most
For they say the veil
Between the worlds are thin
And if this is true
Why can't I ever seem to find
My next of kin,
But I will keep the faith
No matter how many years it takes
That hopefully we will meet face to face.
