Hold Me Dear

Hold Me Dear

A Poem by Tarry Franck

I wish you were here
To ease the sorrow
And wipe my tears,
To embrace me
As my body shivers
So nervously,
I'm hanging on
By a thin thread
For God has called
Another loved one
And really nothing can be said,
I know it will take time to heal
But to have you close to me
Would mean a great deal,
To be comforted in your arms
Would help so much
But just to know
You hold a place for me in you heart
Means so much.

This is very beautiful. It's deep and heavy in emotion. I really like this :)
