You lighten my day

And you don't even know

With just the words you say,

You're not completely aware

Of what all you do

And not sure you know

How much I care,

Even though I tell you all the time

Does it make a difference

Between you and I...

I'm hoping one day

The true words I speak

Will thoroughly break through

And I will know for sure

You love me as much as I love you.
