It was good to talk

To you today

It's just been bad timing

I've missed our conversations

Didn't mean to go into hiding,

I've been dealing

With so much drama

And didn't want you

To have to deal with the same

But I'm sure somebody

Will soon face their own karma,

You've been a blessing

To me tonight

Because I needed some positivity

And that you freely gave to me,

In my darkness

You've been a shining light

I thank you for that

And looking forward

To talking again

Because you turned my sad

To such happiness

At the end of this night.
