Life's Gusty Breeze

Upon the ground

Dare I land

Am I welcomed

To take their hands,

Do I deserve their sentiments

All the wrong I've done

But through my darkness

They gave back my sun,

Why did I doubt

Their graciousness

Love and compassion

Is what they are all about,

I'm so pleased

That I've landed with ease

To my new home

Safe from life's gusty breeze
