Wonder Of Love

Wonder Of Love

A Poem by Tarry Franck

The flesh on my bones
You ripped to pieces
When you left me all alone,
Not quite sure why you had to
Thought what was between us was very strong
I guess our time to end was due
Where did we go wrong,
Still I worry and wonder each day
The reason
The reason you stray
Did I mislead you
In any way,
My recollection of what may be
Is so heartfelt
But unfortunately a sentence of loneliness
I fear I have been dealt

A interesting poem about love. I will never understand how someone can hurt someone they love. Love can twist us up and leave us confused. I like the real life ending. We accept things without a fight. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

It is a wonder and keeps everyone wondering, I get the title now. This is sad and expresses the down side of relationships very well and has made me think that each individual pairing can have multiple outcomes, none of which are predictable.

Ahhh that sucks. Great expressions of pain here. By the title I thought it was gonna be sweet and mushy. Maybe it's meant to be ironic? I guess the wonder of love is that it can feel so good and hurt so bad.
