I would love to have you

By my side everyday

But deep inside I know

That can't be

Living a distance apart

Makes me want you even more next to me,

I miss you when you are near

I miss you more when you are gone

Makes me feel so alone,

But deep inside I know

That we're not really apart

Because you are near within my heart,

Time to time I will have to face

More moments like this

But the great thing is your love

Will always leave a loving trace.

This is beautiful and a bit sad Tarry. To miss someone when they are near, because we know that time keeps moving and soon they will be gone tugs so tightly at the heart strings. It is almost an impossible feeling to describe, but you have done so beautifully in your poem today. Very nicely done.
