To KellyA Poem by terry smith
Your words are like
my lullaby
if my lullaby was Sophie B. Hawkins wish I was.... They fill me with a warmth of hot soup on a cold day or coffee in the middle of a writing spree your words are like chinese fireworks that rain paper lanterns filled with musical notes that only you could write Like the feeling of someone coming up behind you and filling you with their warm embrace Like season three when they finally kiss and their lips are the only thing that matters Like those old tattered jeans you would put on for modesty's sake as we would do the crossword in bed on a rainy sunday morning that;s what your words are like to me. © 2015 terry smithReviews
