Halloween yahA Poem by terry smithSung to the tune "HALLALUJAH"In the land of all hallows eve the children dress in make believe this is the story let me tell it to you It goes like this it's not a myth the grown-ups all give out candy as gifts and all the children cry out halloween yeah trick or treat yeah smell my feet yeah trick or treat yeah now give us some candy her scars were long but she needed proof that she was dead so from the roof she hung herself in the moonlight to amuse you you untied her but were unaware was all a trick for you to be scared and from her lips you heard the BOO yeah halloween yeah trick or treat yeah smell my feet yeah now give us some candy I know that we were here before there's only stale candy behind that door and apples for me and you now let's all go on a desperate march to fill our bags with candy and such and stuff our bellies till they burst in two yeah halloween yeah trick or treat yeah don't be mean yeah share your candy
