Just saying...

Just saying...

A Poem by terry smith

The rain kept falling down
they said there would be sunshine
but it's nowhere to be found
my head is in the clouds
and my feet are on the ground
just saying...

as I walk these empty streets
 all alone
thoughts of you and me
your'e my home
and if ever we shall be
I will know
that everything would be
complete

just saying....

I sit here watching the rain outside
stumbling on my foolish pride
you said that you had never lied...to me
but I could see the spark had died
every time I looked into your eyes
I just couldn't realize....your'e free

of me

just saying....
just saying....
just saying....

Love sometimes tosses us away like the wrapper to a Hershey bar. It's sad and humiliating, and heartbreaking all at once.

Would a hug help?

(((redeemable for a hug)))

You spelled you're, "your'e." Aside from that, an enjoyable poem. :)

Life sucks that way sometimes. The spark dies and we can't reignite it no matter how hard we try.
