The Lonely LadyA Poem by terry smith
I used to have an old neighbor lady
iron my shirts for me she did it so delicately like they were made of snowflakes or she was taking a band-aid off of a butterfly's wing she would neatly fold them and with a tear in her eye hand them to me knowing that this meant it was time for me to leave
