Hidden in plain sight

Hidden in plain sight

A Poem by terry smith

You are a white tigress
in a field
 of white flowers
that smell strangely
of lavender
majestic and demure
the fields
 are your calm
you stretch your
great and supple muscles
and relax
ready to
explode
into motion
in a single moment
you rest
your head
if you do not
move
no one
will see you

B
Animals are so beautiful
they are so honest
in their moves
so plain
so transparent
