Now I Know

Now I Know

A Poem by terry smith

I guess things went
the way they were
supposed to.
You were right there
but for some reason
I did not want you
the way I should have,
somehow I knew
we were not meant to be.
And I did not want
to hurt you
on my way to her.

This is so pretty T...and its so important to close doors and leave resentment behind. Frees you up to love the next. What a great, empowering statement sweetheart.

Much love
Jennifer

yeah i don't know how i just did...
Very sad Terry the way we find sometimes our heart doesn't always want what we think it wants at first but sometimes decides to settle for someone else

I always like the simple poems the best, I guess that's why I like to write simple poems. I really liked this piece Terry.
