Sorrow

Sorrow

A Poem by terry smith

I watch as you allow yourself to fade into the shadows...
I play hangman
 with all the
 letters
 I used
to express
 my feelings
 for you.
then gently
 pull them
 down,
trying
desperately
 to put them
together again.

only now
they are just
tear stained
blotches of ink....

I don't know if my heart can handle this....

Your heart seems to flow with such sadness and pain as of late Terry and it shows within your writing. You do so beautifully but they are so sad...:(
