TRASH

TRASH

A Poem by taylorrose

TRASH

you think garbage

no use for it

but what trash really means

is no longer wanted

pushed away like nothing

means nothing

no longer has meaning

TRASH

thats what i became to them

no longer needed

no longer wanted

something that had no meaning

i became nothing to them

thats what i became TRASH

garbage no longer needed

something kicked

pushed around

left in a can

TRASH

to them was better than nothing

but to me it felt worse

something so forgotten

something so used

no longer needed

rips and bruises

TRASH

left out to soak it all up

my friends

who let me become

TRASH

Well written and so full of meaning. Sad, yet powerful; I love how you repeated the word trash. It really emphasizes it. Very nice piece :)

You will never be TRASH! But I understand that to let out those feelings are imperative to keep it from eating you up inside, therefore vent away my dear. We are here to listen:)
love to you sweet Taylor!

Great use of the word trash. People do get used up and forgotten. Becoming like yesterday trash. Great use of thoughts and strong statements gave the poem strength and purpose. A outstanding poem.
