The Senate confirmed Betsy DeVos

As Secretary of Education--

A real slap in the face to the public

School system in this nation.

 

DeVos's desire to "advance God's kingdom"

Through education sounds a bit scary.

That should make anybody

Who knows the Constitution wary.

 

Her vague and incoherent replies

To Senators' questions were dull and drizzly.

Her thoughts regarding guns in schools:

You never know; there might be a grizzly.

 

Her reputation for school reform

In Michigan isn't stellar.

To weaken the public school system

Is NOT a solution. Would someone tell her?
