Being Trump's dummy, for you persist

In letting him manipulate you?

He's not a subtle ventriloquist.

 

How he takes control of your mouth!

There is really no denying

That you say what he wants you to

And have become so good at lying.

 

For causing dysfunction and passing the blame,

You definitely have the knack.

Your smug appearance gives you the face

That many folks would love to smack.

 

The puppet master doesn't care

If you are making a bad impression

By not doing what should be your duty:

Calling the House back into session.

 

By failing to negotiate

And work with Democrats in the House

To end the shutdown, you would rather

Be Trump's little subservient mouse.

 

Can you tell us why you're being

So protective of pedophiles

That you will stop at nothing so as

Not to release the Epstein files?

 

You won't seat a newly elected

Member of Congress because you're afraid.

By hiding the truth for Donald Trump,

Once again, you come to his aid.

 

To let the shutdown be as painful

As possible must be your goal.

In Trump's disastrous puppet show,

Do YOU like having a starring role?

 

If he tossed you aside, we know

That THAT wouldn't go according to plan.

But would you lie there in a heap?

Or would you get up and be a man?

Definitely incisive, like you're about to take a scalpel to a barfight. The sad fact is that our illustrious House speaker won his district without the Democrats even fielding a candidate. The fact he won the election with 85% against a fellow Republican tells me all I need to know about his constituency. They happily want this mess even if it affects them negatively in the long run. A brilliant bit of gadfly prizefighting if I say so myself.
