On the Ballot

Recent election results indicate

That people are tired of Donald Trump.

All across the country we saw

That Trumplicans got a kick in the rump.

 

People are tired of all the lies

Made up daily and often repeated,

Tired of tariffs and rising prices,

Tired of seeing people mistreated,

 

Tired of extrajudicial killings

Of people in watercraft on the high seas,

Tired of a Trump administration

Filled with people with no expertise.

 

To explain why Republicans took a loss,

Trump once again took out his mallet

And bashed the truth. He said it was

Because he wasn't on the ballot.

 

Ignore the truth and pass the blame

As much as you want, Mr. Trump, sir!

The ballot might not have had your name,

But YOU were on it; you REALLY were.
