Don't Forget About Ukraine

Americans, have you forgotten about

All the struggles going on in Ukraine

Because of Putin's full-scale invasion--

His bloody military campaign

 

Facing Russia's relentless attacks,

Cities and towns are being battered.

Many of them have been destroyed.

Ukrainian lives are being shattered.

 

Millions of people have been displaced.

Hospitals, schools, homes have been hit.

How many more atrocities

Are the Russians going to commit?

 

It's almost been four years now

Since Putin invaded, to no one's surprise.

Then he blamed the Ukrainians

And filled the Russians' heads with lies.

 

Where does the Trump administration

Stand? Trump is keeping score:

Unless the U.S. can make a profit,

The war over there is NOT our war.

 

And Russian losses? What about them?

Apparently, Putin doesn't care,

For he regards Russian soldiers

Merely as cannon fodder to spare.

 

Critical assistance is needed.

Ukraine requires sustained support.

If only the world could try Putin

Before an international court!

 

The less support we give to Ukraine,

The more casualties we'll see.

For self-protection, Ukrainians need

More than our tea and sympathy.

 

Putin's invasion has repercussions.

If Ukraine falls, one thing is sure:

None of the European nations

Will be able to feel secure.
