a reach for infinityA Poem by Kevin McKennaWe'll f**k until we reach infinity, then inbetween sips of a bottle passed back and forth on a train bound to baton rouge, we'll smoke cigarettes just to pass the f*****g time. On odd days we'll tie our legs in nots and walk on our elbows. On somedays we'll fall in love. We'll whisper wonders out on the roof top between flickers of lighters. Tempt you to deny us, as the old ladies play tag in the parking lot. One day you'll understand that I really did try to get close to you. Beneath the twinkle of lightning bugs and from the reflection of silver trumpets we'll dance as the radio in the corner crackles to life. © 2012 Kevin McKennaReviews
