Stranded

This is another poem I wrote awhile ago...

Why did you leave me out here?

Feels like I'm the only one

On a tiny island

I'm all by myself

Why is it, that you had to leave me?

I did nothing wrong

Yet I'm stranded a lone on a tiny island

There's nowhere to go...nothing to see

Only thing to feel is pain

I'm stranded on a tiny island

Surrounded by sharks

I jump right in

Yet they just circle around me

They won't attack me

They know all I feel is pain and they'll be taking it away

I swim back to shore

I cry so much...

My little island is flooded by my tears

You left me here...

Drowning in my own tears
