My Other Half

A Poem by Ashley

His face appears everytime my mind wanders

 

Time stops when I look into his eyes

 

If I could dive into them

 

I'd drown in his love for me

 

When I'm with him, my heart is on fire

 

When I'm not with him, my heart is cold as ice

 

That doesn't worry me...

 

Because I know the next time I see him

 

My heart will be set on fire.
