Under Twinkling Stars

A poem based off on the thoughts of lonely people who have only stars as friends.

It could have been a lonely night,

But with the stars shining bright

I just couldn`t feel lonely

As the stars were there for me

 

Illuminating the dark blue sky

Are the stars shining as I sigh

I have been through a lot

Good, bad ,ups, downs and what not.

 

Today is going to be different

A night under twinkling stars

Listening to soothing music

To heal my problems and scars.

 

It may be a problem small

Or something big to be my fall.

It could be something to be proud

Or when happiness seems like a big crowd.

 

Every day I reflect

Back on such moments.

As I look up to the sky

From under twinkling stars.

 

I clearly remember

The healing light

Of the twinkling stars

Each and every night.

 

No matter where I am

I could always talk

To the twinkling star

 Along with either music or a guitar.

 

Some people say it`s just

A hot ball of dust.

But  to  some the stars

Are what the most they trust.

 

But today is going to be different

A night under twinkling stars.

Let me shine bright

Under their magical light.
