Painted pictures

And so I paint a better world...

I prepare a paper

I take my brush

And then I paint a better world.

A world with 

Flowing hills 

Rivers shining gold in the light

Peaks that scrape the sky

And I touch the world. 

I touch it, but it isn't there.

It's just a picture painted on a screen

And so I store it in my closet

With a thousand other worlds

That weren't real

And I prepare a paper.

I take my brush.

And I paint a better world.
