Alone

Well.. It is what it is.

Bright blue flames from deep within
call out my name, as if to sin.
She is the one most abundant of all
because she is the one at my beck and call.
She answers me any time of day,
and pushes all my pain away.
It’s because of her I can stand
the harsh shrill noise of a band.
The others are very kind,
nestled deep within my mind.
They may not give you the time of day,
but they are here to stay.
They tell me things I would never know,
and I assume it is now starting to show.
I have now have told you what you need
because I am never alone.
