Such beauty,

Lips such careful smiles,

An angelic soul you have my dear,

You never fail to draw a crowd when you’re near,

Perfect hair adorns you,

Slender limbs and perfect skin ,

Your beauty withholding so much talent underneath.

Nobody knows….

Buried skin deep is your beautiful soul,

Your pure innocent intentions people take for granted,

How many faces has tried to drag you down,

I bet plenty,

So many Hardship sucked you dry,

Fake friends,

Envious Friends,

Real friends turned to enemy,

Your beauty and intelligence slayed them all

Are you alone?

Your eyes gaze upon the faces who secretly love and loathe you,

They sucked your confidence dry,

Made you feel as if being beautiful is wrong….

But keep your head held high,

They’re all envious of what you are.

 So what if you're alone...

One of the most beautiful women I've ever know never had a date at the age of 45. That can happen here in Mexico because men hate rejection. I often wondered about the conflicts she must have felt to know she had so much to offer and her beauty alone isolated her from all others and in the end she envied those who had always envied her. This work reminded me of her and I appreciated its message and applaud you for having the insight to construct it here with such grace and beauty.
