chapter 1

" Hi Tyler , It's Tara . Um well let me get to the point , my aunt is doing this lame christmas party thing and i was wondering if you'd go with me , so when you get this message call me back and i'll tell you everything else you need to know , Bye. " Tara left the message for Tyler on his awnsering machine .

"Well give him an hour if he dosen't call back call his cell and tell him he needs to awnser the question fas-"Julie was inturpted by the phone ringing .

"OHMIGOD! Its him what do i do ? " Tara said in mock nervousness .She knew he would say yes , he was her boyfriend after all .

" Hello? " Tara awnsered the phone

"Hey hot stuff ." Tyler said making her blush .

"God did'nt I ask you to stop calling me that? "

"Yep, But i did'nt agree to anything " He replyed making Tara's face redder. " So Yeah , When and where beautiful . "

" It's friday and you pick me up at six the party Dosen't end until, well the next day i think .It's open ended ."  Tara smiled over the phone .

" Is it all formal and crap? " Tyler sighed he hated ties .

" Kinda , think of it as a color wheel white is farthest from black tie and its about oh.. deep red."

" Do I need to wear a tie or not? "

"Nope but you do have to wear a sports jacket and nice pants , not Jeans . "  

"Can i wear sneakers? "

" No. " Tara said a little irritated , he always wanted to wear sneakers .

" Alright see you at six tomrrow . " Tyler said hanging up the phone .

         " Did you seriously call the party a color wheel ? " Melinda said laughing at Tara. Tara just glared at her .

" Yes, yes i did ." Tara finially replyed .

     the time passed fast until six o'clock finially came , she picked out her favorite red dress and a pair of black italian pumps. then hopped in Tyler's car and left for the christmas party . Little did she know that she would get a big supprise when she got there.
